Pacoima Fire

PACOIMA (CNS) – A fire in an auto wrecking yard  in Pacoima destroyed several vehicles and damaged a neighboring warehouse before firefighters using foam were able to extinguish it.

The fire, reported on Monday, Dec. 1, at 9871 San Fernando Road about 3:25 p.m., was put out by about 75 firefighters, Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

How the fire started was not immediately known. Foam was used on the fire because

leftover fuels in the vehicles were believed to have been burning.
