At least four people were stabbed when a fight broke out at a party in a San Fernando neighborhood on Saturday, Jan. 31.

A San Fernando Police Department (SFPD) spokesman said officers responded at 10:30 p.m. to reports of a disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of Orange Grove Avenue. Upon their arrival, the officers spotted multiple victims with apparent stab wounds.

Witnesses reported that several people engaged in the fight, including one or more who were armed with knives, according to police.

 The spokesman said the Los Angeles Fire Department was also called in to transport the injured victims to local area hospitals. In addition, the Burbank Police Department provided officers to assist with the investigation.

During a search of the area, the spokesman said, a juvenile suspect was located hiding in the bushes of a nearby residence. The suspect, who was not identified because of age, also appeared to have suffered injuries related to the fight and was transported to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center for treatment.

Police said the suspect, after being released from the hospital was transported and booked at the San Fernando Police Department. The suspect has been released from custody.

 SFPD detectives are continuing their investigation, and seek the public’s help in identifying additional witnesses, victims or suspects.
