On March 7, more than 100 volunteers came out for Neighborhood Housing Services of Los Angeles County’s (NHS) Neighborhood Pride Day in Pacoima. Along Mercer Street, volunteers painted homes and fences, picked up trash, hauled away debris, removed graffiti and planted flowers in breezeways that were otherwise barren or covered with trash from illegal dumping.
