LOS ANGELES (CNS) — Police are searching for a man suspected of going into offices in the San Fernando Valley and stealing victims’ unattended wallets and purses.
All the crimes took place at four businesses between Aug. 31 and Sept. 8 and the suspect was captured on surveillance video during one of the incursions, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
If questioned, the man casually asks about the business before saying he is in the wrong office.
The suspect is described as possibly of Armenian descent, about 5 feet 6 and between 180 and 190 pounds. He has a balding head with graying hair only on the sides, one tattoo in cursive lettering on his right forearm and another tattoo on his upper right arm.
He has been seen wearing dark polo-type shirts and blue or black jeans.
He also carries a black canvas laptop bag to hide stolen items.
