1. Principal Oliver Ramirez addressing the crowd in the auditorium. There were many guest speakers from the community that came to share in the celebration and offer plaques and awards of recognition.
2. Lucille Steffe was recognized during the ceremony for being the most senior amongst the other alumni in the room. She came to Morningside in 1927 and lived in one of the houses bordering the playground.
3. The steps of Morningside are very recognizable to those in the community. You can see on the tiles above the pillars 19 (over the left pillar) and 15 (over the right pillar) indicating the year the building was built.
