NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) — Authorities have identified a man who was fatally stabbed, allegedly by his brother, who is being held on $1 million bail.

The men were fighting on Oct. 4 at 1:42 a.m. near Saticoy Street and Tujunga Avenue when Angel Verdugo, 23, allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed

his brother several times, said Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s media relations office.

Alonzo Verdugo, also 23, died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported. The suspect was booked on suspicion of murder, Lopez said.
