TARZANA (CNS) – A man was in custody today for allegedly killing his girlfriend in Tarzana.

The shooting occurred about 4:25 p.m. Sunday in the 6200 block of Reseda Boulevard, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations office.

The victim, a Panorama City resident in her 20s, died at a hospital about 7 p.m., said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter. Her name was withheld pending notification of her relatives.

Her boyfriend was booked on suspicion of murder, Madison said. His name was not immediately released.
