LOS ANGELES (CNS) — Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers cut their water use by 10.1 percent in November, compared to the same month two years ago — well short of the 16 percent conservation mandate imposed on the agency by the state, according to figures released Tuesday, Jan. 5.

However, DWP customers have reduced their water use by a cumulative 17.1 percent since June, when statewide conservation mandates took effect, according to the state Water Resources Control Board.
