LOS ANGELES (CNS) — Los Angeles police are seeking the public’s help to track down whoever stole a utility trailer containing about $250,000 in art from where it was parked in Chatsworth.

The crime occurred Nov. 20 in an industrial area near Nordhoff Street and Alabama Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The 24-foot-long, 2005 Haulmark trailer, license plate number 4MB3828, contained paintings, prints and sculptures from artists including Miro, Haring, Neiman, Chagall and Matisse, the LAPD reported.

Police did not disclose who owned the trailer or artworks.
