The San Fernando Police Department Police Explorers participated in the 18th Annual, Chandler Police Explorer Tactical Competition in Chandler, Arizona. The competition took place from Friday, January 15, 2016 through Sunday, January 17, 2016. The competition consisted of 55 police agencies from five different States, and over 850 Police Explorers competing for a trophy. SFPD Police Explorers placed in four different events, 2nd place in the Waterborne Operations event, 3rd place in Hogan’s Alley, 4th place in the Tactical Relay, and 4th place in the Bungee Challenge.
