LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A man was fatally shot by another man in Sylmar today, police said.
The gunfire was reported around 1:40 a.m. near the intersection of Dronfield Avenue and Sayre Street, said Sgt. James Bender of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division.


The victim, who was in his early 20s, was struck in the upper body and transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds, Bender said.
No description of the shooter was immediately released, nor was a suspected motive. He remains at large, police said.
