SYLMAR (CNS) —Police detectives continue to investigate the hit-and-run accident fatally injured a pedestrian here. Authorities are seeking public help to find the suspect.
The pedestrian was struck about 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, in the 15500 block of Foothill Boulevard and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The name of the victim, who was in his 50s, was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
ABC7 reported that the man’s pickup truck became disabled, and he got out and was hit by a car described as a white, four-door 2011-16 Chevrolet Cruze with tinted windows.
Residents have consistently complained about the excessive speeds reached by motorists driving on Foothill Boulevard.
