PACOIMA (CNS) – A bicyclist was killed today in a traffic crash in the Pacoima area, authorities said.
Paramedics sent to the 11700 block of Glenoaks Boulevard about 7 a.m. pronounced the teenage boy dead at the scene, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. His name was withheld pending family notification.
The crash involved two motor vehicles, and the bicyclist was trapped beneath one of them for a time, Humphrey said.
The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to a hospital for treatment of a minor injury. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
