Valley residents won’t have to travel far this holiday season to see snow. The Discovery Cube Los Angeles science center and children’s museum near Sylmar will be packing its “Winter Wonderfest” exhibit in front of the museum daily with snow until Jan. 8. There are areas for kids to slide down ramps — including a tube slide measuring 75 feet and using a synthetic surface — as well as a playing area to walk around and make snow angels. Inside the museum are gingerbread house displays and an area where kids can make cookie cars to race on a track. For more information, visit the center’s website at discoverycube.org.
