The San Fernando Police Department, its San Fernando Police Advisory Council and other volunteers brought seasons greetings to more than 120 San Fernando families through its annual Holiday Basket Program on Thursday, Dec. 22
Now in its 29th year, the baskets were filled with toys and food, including a holiday ham, and presented to needy families. The deliveries were coordinated from the Bernards Brothers warehouse in San Fernando.
Joining Santa Claus in presenting baskets on Thursday were SFPD officers, the San Fernando Police Explorers, San Fernando Police Officers, state Sen. Robert Hertzberg, and various City officials and employees.
