Sentencing has been postponed for an man convicted of killing his girlfriend at a home in Pacoima.

Michael Jerome Parks — also known as “Chicken Mike” and Michael McTizic — will return to the San Fernando Courthouse on July 26. He faces life without parole in state prison.

Parks was found guilty of fatally shooting and stabbing G’Teasha F., 33 — last Sept. 7 after convincing the victim to meet him at the home, according to Deputy District Attorney Ani Bailey.

Authorities said Parks fled from California, but was later arrested in Las Vegas and extradited back to LA.

The criminal complaint against Parks said he had multiple criminal convictions, including robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, assault with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon, dating back to 1985.
