Politicians Pre-Register High School Students To Vote

Secretary of State Alex Padilla and State Senator Henry Stern visited Reseda High School this week to talk about the importance of civic engagement and pre-register 16 and 17-year-olds to vote, so that when they turn 18, they’ll be automatically eligible to head to the polls. Statistically, people aged 18-24 register to vote in the lowest numbers compared to any other age group in the country. Eligible youth can pre-register to vote online at www.registertovote.ca.gov.
