Returning Cal State University, Northridge students and faculty — as well as CSUN visitors — are minded that no tobacco products or other types of smoking (including e-cigarettes) are allowed anywhere on campus. It’s a policy that has been in effect since 2015. “We were one of the pioneers (of the policy),” said Dr. Linda Chassiakos, director of the CSUN Student Health Center, adding that the policy is now in effect on all 23 California State University campuses. “We’ve been seeing significant and good compliance…people are respecting the environment.”
