Hundreds of police cadets and officers joined community residents for the third edition of the LAPD Foothill Fitness Run on June 9 at the Hansen Dam Recreation Center. Participants could choose between a 5K or 10K course. LAPD Foothill Division Youth Services Officer Claudia de la Cruz estimated that more than 800 people took part in the competition.
