Roaring Nights Features an Eclectic Mix of Multi-Genre Music

The L.A. Zoo’s Roaring Nights summer entertainment series kicks off on Friday, June 28, from 6 p.m. -10:30 p.m., transforming the Zoo into a music lovers’ utopia.  The fiercest summer soirees in town are happening four Fridays this summer and are for guests 21-and-up.

DJs and live music spanning four decades will provide the entertainment and music backdrop as zoo guests take a  nighttime journey that includes special animal feedings, pop-up zoo talks, food truck fare, cocktails, lawn games, and more.  Guests can roam the grounds after dark and  hear legendary ‘80s DJ Richard Blade; local favorite DJ Avi Bernard of KJLH; the all-vinyl Chulita Vinyl Club DJ collective; dueling DJs at the HUSH Silent Disco party; and the ultimate ‘80s tribute band, Flashback Heart Attack.  With the “fireside” charm of The Watering Hole glamping lounge, featuring music, cocktails, and international cuisine from some of L.A.’s best-known food and dessert trucks.
