On Friday, November 8, 2019, the City of San Fernando honored local U.S. Military Veterans with an unveiling ceremony that introduced the city’s Veterans Banner Program.  In time for the celebration of Veterans Day, the city displayed two banners that can currently be seen adjacent to Library Plaza.

The city’s new program honors local veterans with a banner for display on Maclay Ave.– the city’s busiest street.

A photo, rank and branch of military service for each veteran will be embossed on banners beginning this month and will continue through 2020.  For more information about the city’s Veterans Banner Program contact: 818 898-1290.
