Northridge Hospital Medical Center (NHMC) and the Northridge Hospital Foundation recently hosted their 19th Annual “Helping Hands Holiday Jam” for more than 350 local children.
Boys and girls from across the San Fernando Valley were treated to a holiday paradise on Dec. 6. The hospital’s parking lot was converted into Santa’s workshop, complete with carnival games, arts and crafts and food. There was a photo opportunity with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and a generous bag of gifts.
The children are part of the “Title1/No Child Left Behind” program that provides financial assistance to local agencies for the education of children of low-income families.
