The family-owned business Casa Torres, which has been operating banquet halls and restaurants in San Fernando and Sylmar for more than 30 years, is making its meats and produce available for purchase to the public at their cost during the coronavirus crisis. “I think this is something we’re supposed to do,” owner Danny Torres said. “It’s a means for people to another outlet for them, another option for the community. The community has always been there for us, now we’re gonna do our best to try and help them.” The banquet hall in San Fernando will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
