El Nido, in Partnership with Yasiel Puig’s Wild Horse Children’s Foundation, provided groceries and supplies on Monday, May 18, to more than 100 families in Pacoima. The participating families are currently enrolled in El Nido Family Center’s Gang Reduction and Youth Development (GRYD) Program. The nonprofit agency strives to help keep kids from gangs and other risks by providing early childhood programs, support to help children succeed in school and provides financial and housing stability. Other contributor included Tapia Brothers, Magaly’s Tamales, the Chingon Bakery, Baby2Baby, Del Monte, Flor De Lima, Adidas, Giving Children Hope, Legos, Lanier Stewart aka DJ Severe brought to you by Rickie Lee Mota of La Musa Studio, Spa Source, Super Tacos, and the Port of Hueneme.
