Alternative Theatre Los Angeles (ATLA) en asociación con LA Stage Alliance (LASA) presenta “Together LA: A Virtual Stage Festival” que celebra la vibrante y diversa escena teatral íntima del área metropolitana de Los Ángeles.
El festival comienza esta noche, 1 de octubre, y continuará hasta el 17 de octubre. Las producciones son gratuitas para que el público las transmita a través de Twitch.tv.
Cada noche de teatro comienza a las 7 p.m.
“Si bien las puertas de nuestros teatros pueden estar cerradas, nuestros artistas continúan innovando y utilizando nueva tecnología para servir a Los Ángeles y promover la importancia del teatro. Únase a nosotros para celebrar las obras creadas específicamente para un formato virtual”, dijo un portavoz de ATLA.
“En el transcurso de tres fines de semana, treinta y cuatro (34) compañías de teatro de ATLA exhibirán obras de 10 minutos, producidas digitalmente y compartidas virtualmente.
Cada noche será presentada por invitados famosos”, incluidos Ian Alexander, Parvesh Cheena, Drew Droege, Amy Hill y Del Shores. Las compañías de teatro participantes incluyen: 24th Street Theatre, Actors Co-op, Ammunition Theatre Company, Celebration Theatre, Chance Theatre, Coin and Ghost, Company of Angels, Echo Theatre Company, Ensemble Studio Theatre / LA, IAMA Theatre Company, Impro Theatre, Independent Shakespeare Company, Interact Theatre Company, Lower Depth Theatre Ensemble, Macha Theatre, Open Fist Theatre Company, Ophelia’s Jump Productions, Pacific Resident Theatre, Playwrights ‘Arena, Rogue Machine Theatre, Sacred Fools Theatre Company, Sierra Madre Playhouse, Skylight Theatre Company, The 6th Act, The Fountain Theatre, The Group Rep Theatre, The Inkwell Theatre, The New American Theatre, The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, The Road Theatre Company, The Victory Theatre Center, Theatre of NOTE, Theatre West y Whitefire Theatre.
