ARIES (March 21-April 19)

It sure looks like you’re working at cross-purposes with what could be called a nemesis, although this is not the case. Find a way to disarm the opponent. The fastest way to do this is to lay down your own arms. Next comes a joint discovery process in which you’ll land on a way in which everyone’s needs could be met.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

It’s hard to talk about nebulous things even when they do happen to be the most relevant and pressing topics. There are very few, if any, examples of people gracefully slipping the big topics into conversation. Someone has to start this. Maybe you. Give yourself credit no matter how it turns out. You’re a trailblazer.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)

The serious problems won’t be interesting, and the interesting problems won’t be serious. Whichever side of it you’re on, it’s best to pause and handle a little of the other side, too. Because you really can cover all your bases this week if you integrate the high and low, silly and grave, significant and frivolous.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)

Water pools. The drops find and join each other as though the water molecules believe that there is no obstacle they cannot overcome together, and they are right about it, as they flow past and spill over everything in their path. This is also how you are this week, gravitating to like minds, bonding, prevailing.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Consumerism is a poor substitute for purpose. You’ll diligently find the quality option at the best price for what you need, though don’t put too much energy into the quest, as the world needs something different from you than what you can buy from it. Give yourself undistracted time to discover meaningful purpose.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Sure, other creatures think, though arguably humans are the only ones who contemplate and ruminate — levels of thought that will lead you to behave differently this week than you would if you were merely reacting to the current circumstances. Your deep thoughts will be the start of a new relationship, project or quest.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23)

Nowhere will symmetry be better represented this week than in cycle of life. Infancy ascends to agedness which descends to infancy. Efforts to understand and help those of other generations will be gold dust on your karma that brings various forms of excellent fortune. This stage you’re in is a good one; believe it.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21)

Friendships are voluntary commitments that do not incur a lasting reciprocal obligation. It’s a pay-as-you-go plan. You get and give value from a relationship as you endeavor to keep building it, sometimes in stable routines and other times in whimsical novelty. It’s an entity growing in new and creative directions.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Your signmate Bette Milder disclosed: “I’m very careful about money because I was poor. So I can never feel rich.” There is an area of your life you’re tiptoeing around so as not to disturb what, to everyone else, seems like a raucous abundance. What would it take for you to cut loose and enjoy yourself?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Maybe it’s not your job to convey a sense of optimism, though this week you’ll get tremendously positive results when you just pretend like it is. How would you act if you were getting paid to spread hope, offer encouragement and seed the sort of useful ideas that can thrive regardless of circumstantial hospitality?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

To sustain the physical and psychological burdens that accompany a job is the whole point of being paid for it. While others complain, you’ve a comprehensive understanding that work entails… well… work!  Not only will you approach with a dignity that eschews self-pity, you’ll welcome the challenge.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

In the world you will encounter both angelic grace and faulty awkwardness, and your odds for finding either one are about equal when you turn to your own inner world. However you choose to work, outside in, inside out, you’ll enjoy progress as you solve, stretch and dance there.
