SANTA CLARITA (CNS) – The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert today for a missing 74-year-old Santa Clarita man who suffers from an undisclosed medical condition and may become disoriented.
Romeo Silvano was last seen about 5:45 p.m. Saturday at his home in the 15000 block of Saul Court, according to the CHP, which issued the Silver Alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Silvano was seen driving a white, 2000 Toyota Sienna minivan, with California plates 4LQC638, sheriff’s Deputy Eva Jimenez said.
Silvano is Asian-American. He stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has shoulder-length gray hair and brown eyes, Jimenez said.
Silvano is believed to be wearing a green shirt, blue jeans and a blue baseball cap, according to the CHP.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP.
