Homicide detectives from the LAPD Valley Bureau are continuing to investigate the shooting death of a 40-year-old man identified as Alexander Garcia Aguirre in Sylmar on Nov. 14, in the 13200 block of Maclay Street.
Detectives are also seeking the public’s help in identifying the shooter of Aguirre. According to the LAPD, witnesses told investigators that two men and a woman were spotted fleeing the scene just after the shooting, leaving Aguirre lying in a parking lot with a gunshot wound.
Aguirre would be pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
