WEST HILLS (CNS) — A woman who was killed by a drunk driver in West Hills has been identified today by county authorities.

Carol Singer, 76, was identified as the victim in the fatal head-on collision, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

Singer, who was driving a 2003 Nissan, was taken to Northridge Hospital,  where she was pronounced dead.

The crash was reported on March 12 at around 6:15 a.m., in the area of 24045 Woolsey Canyon Road, near Valley Circle Boulevard, investigating California Highway Patrol Officer G. Alvarez said.

The preliminary investigation determined that Nohemi Harrison of West Hills, 57, was driving a 2021 Porsche and was at fault “when she drove her vehicle to the left of the double yellow lines while under the influence alcohol and/or drugs,” Alvarez said.

Harrison was taken to West Hills Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries, released, and arrested, Alvarez said.
