Puck, played by Katie Dingle, shares the potion “Love-entitledness” with Helen, played by Abby Cardenas, in the Cal Lutheran University production of “A Midsemester Prom Night’s Dream,” a musical parody of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
The rock-and-roll adaptation, presented by the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance, is set in 1999 and features songs by AC/DC, the Backstreet Boys, Green Day, Smash Mouth and the Spice Girls. Evening performances on April 28, 29 and 30 begin at 8 p.m., and a matinee performance on May 1 at 2 p.m., will be held at the at the Preus-Brandt Forum, located at 135 Chapel Lane on the Thousand Oaks campus. Admission is free.
