Discovery Cube Los Angeles is debuting a brand-new exhibit on Earth Day to provide young broadcasters a firsthand look at how environmental news is reported in their city.
The new interactive exhibit, called Cube Studios, features three hands-on studio stations — news desk, editing bay and field reporting — to give young reporters the chance to shoot, edit and report top environmental news stories occurring in their community. It will be unveiled at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 22, in celebration of Earth Day.
It is meant to give a behind-the-scenes experience in learning the ins-and-outs of news reporting, and be a training ground for the next generation of environmental journalists. It will join the nine other exhibits held at the center, including Science of Hockey and Helicopter Tours.
