To celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the Kiwanis of San Fernando members and guests gathered at a member’s home in the city of San Fernando Sunday, Oct. 16.  The chapter was founded in  December of 1922, 7 years before the stock market crash of ’29, 19 years before Pearl Harbor, 4 years after the Pandemic of 1918, and 11 years after the founding of the city of San Fernando.  Its mission is to raise funds and volunteer in the community.   Currently, there are 35 members who meet weekly on Tuesdays for lunch at the banquet room of the San Fernando Regional Pool.  The club encourages community members to join their group.
