Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, Council District 7, Pastor Kenny Cook of New Christ Memorial Church, church congregants, and members of the legendary Crouch family were on hand for the unveiling of the Crouch Family Legacy Cultural sign in Pacoima on July 23. Located at the intersection of Vaughn Street and Herrick Avenue, the sign honors Sandra Crouch and the late Andraé Crouch, who are credited with the creation of “Modern Gospel” music and are Grammy Award-winning artists.
