WEST HILLS (CNS) — Authorities have identified a young man who was killed when the vehicle he was driving crashed in West Hills.

The crash was reported about 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, in the 23900 block of Deer Lick Drive, said Officer Regina Smith of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.

William White-Green, 23, of North Hollywood died at the scene, said coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

The vehicle veered off the road, struck a curb and a caution sign before striking a chain-link fence, Smith said. The driver was the vehicle’s sole occupant, Smith said.
