A man, estimated at 25 to 30 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center Officers at the scene had not yet determined whether street racing was the cause of the crash, the desk officer said, but a witness told Fox11 that two racing vehicles had caused the wreckage.

Video from the scene showed a pickup surrounded by at least three mangled cars as well as another pickup on its two front wheels, backed onto a street pole.
