Los Anarchists Junior Derby and Cedars Sinai are teaming up for their fourth junior roller derby tournament and blood drive collaboration.
The tournament will take place at the LA Kings Burbank Sports Center. The roller derby bouts will be sanctioned by the Junior Roller Derby Association and will feature some of the top teams in junior derby.
Cedars Sinai will bring its Blood Bus on site Saturday, Jan. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to collect blood by reservation and through walk-ups.
January is National Blood Donor month, and it is a particularly critical time for replenishing stores of donor blood. In previous collaborations, between 50-100 pints of blood were collected.
Parking will be reserved in the parking lot on N. Ontario Street adjacent to the rink.
