NORTHRIDGE (CNS) – A motorcyclist struck and killed by a BMW in a hit-and-run in Northridge was identified Tuesday, May 30, by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office as 38-year-old Sergio Olivera of Los Angeles.

The suspect’s vehicle was going eastbound on Roscoe Boulevard at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday when it made a left turn at Yolanda Avenue and collided with a biker who was going west on Roscoe, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The BMW drove away and paramedics dispatched to the location pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
