“Expressions of Hate on LA’s Most Vulnerable Latino Populations”

August 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

At the heart of this discussion will be the physical violence and overt hate
speech on street vendors and ways to curtail the attacks.
In addition, given recent news of the makeshift RV park with mostly
immigrant tenants, we will also discuss the growing Latino homeless
population and the hate incidents and ill treatment they’ve received.
We will also discuss the importance of data collection and informing the
public about reporting hate incidents and crimes. You will hear testimonies
from the victims themselves.
