Joe M. Juarez

Joe M. Juarez, a former resident of San Fernando, passed away on July 11, 2018 in Delano, CA. 

Joe was born on September 16, 1936 in Las Animas, Colorado along with twin brother, John Juarez of Pixley, CA. John passed away in 2007. Joe is survived by the love of his life of 62 years, Lupe Daniel Juarez, his children, Annamarie Juarez Anguino (Larry) Of San Fernando, CA, Julie Paul (Kevin) of Federal way, Washington, Tony Juarez of Pacoima and Frances Juarez of San Fernando. His brothers Ben Juarez (Helen) of Sylmar, CA and Jack Juarez of Delano, CA. 

Joe was “Tata” to 8 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was “Uncle Joe” to numerous nephews and nieces and a “devoted friend” to many. Joe worked at the General Motors Plant in Van Nuys, CA for 35 years, he retired in 1985. 

He was a proud U.A.W member and a devoted union representative to his U.A.W Brothers. He worked tirelessly with conviction, tenacity and the willingness to speak his mind in representing his brothers. They were proud to be represented by “Little Joe”.

Husband, Dad, Father- in Law, Tata, Uncle and friend, Thank you for a lifetime of memories, camping in Bishop, numerous little league games, barbeques, weddings and especially for your unconditional love and devotion to your family and friends. You will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The Knowledge that you will never again be in pain gives us comfort. “Faith, Love, Hope.” “Adios Amigo!”
