PACOIMA (CNS) – Police today are continuing their search for the driver who fatally struck a 45-year-old pedestrian in Pacoima and drove away.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 9:03 p.m. Wednesday to Foothill Boulevard and Terra Bella Street just west of Hansen Dam Park, where they found the man in the street, an LAPD spokeswoman told City News Service.
The victim, who was crossing Terra Bella when he was struck by the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
NBC4 reported police are looking for a green Sierra GMC pickup that was last seen driving away from the crash scene north of Terra Bella.
