The 2025 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count was held last week over a period of three days, led by the LA Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA). Volunteers went to various deployment sites throughout the county, including five within Council District 6. These include Councilmember Imelda Padilla’s Sun Valley district office, the main office of LA Family Housing in North Hollywood and Plaza Del Valle in Panorama City. Padilla and 50 volunteers ran two of those sites, while LAHSA were in charge of the others. LAHSA will use the data collected to develop strategies to end homelessness and determine where funding and resources will do the most good. (Photo Courtesy of the Office of Imelda Padilla)
