Launched in Pacoima in late 2024, “Smiling Hearts: Williams Syndrome” (Smiling Hearts WS) is a nonprofit organization that provides gatherings and information for families with kids born with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized in part by unique facial features, cardiovascular disease, and developmental and fine motor delays.

The group’s events and resources are also open to parents of children with other special needs.

General admission tickets are $25 per person and include one raffle ticket and one professional photo. VIP tickets are $40 each; in addition to the raffle ticket and professional photo, the VIP price also includes one wine ticket and one charcuterie box.

All proceeds will directly benefit Smiling Hearts WS, to help the nonprofit continue organizing community events that support special needs families in the San Fernando Valley and beyond. The June 18 fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. at Buildability, at 12432 Foothill Blvd. in Sylmar.

Tickets will be available at the door or can be reserved online at: www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/fashion-show-fundraiser-4.
