Hirsch and Van Nuys High School will receive $10,000 check on Thursday, Dec. 11, for the purchase of computer equipment from Code.org for the student body’s participation in the Hour of Code event that aims to teach students how to write computer programs. Van Nuys is the lone California high school to receive the financial gift.
