SANTA CLARITA (CNS) — Sheriff’s detectives are asking  for the public’s help in locating a 51-year-old murder suspect and two associates wanted for a killing that occurred in Santa Clarita.

The killing occurred May 6 at about 4:30 p.m. About an hour later, the suspect was seen with two accomplices on foot, going west on Roscoe Boulevard from Sepulveda Boulevard in North Hills.

Michael McGlothan uses the name Michael Batiste. He is black, 6-feet 4-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, said Deputy Amber Smith of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

In an attempt to disguise himself, he recently lost a lot of weight, Smith said.

One associate was in his 40s and the other in his 30s.
