ARIES (March 21-April 19). It’s not all there yet, but you’re definitely learning a special language that will help you communicate efficiently, if not intimately, with the group you’re trying to assimilate with. In a sense, you are creating this language together as you go. You’re more of a contributor to the group culture than you realize.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Got the sneaking suspicion that you’re doing it it all wrong? A foray into the world of media may exacerbate the issue. Just remember that all those people you see are putting their “show faces” on, too. The surface is not the core. It’s a week to employ your deeper powers of empathy and intuition, and often!
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You’ll be drawn to an artistic experience, captivated by a story. There’s some fantasy involved, and you appreciate the masterful ones who can convince you that they see and feel it — that it is so real, even if it couldn’t possibly be. Real or not, it pulses in their hearts, and they want you to feel the same beat.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You want to be impressed. You want to be delighted. No, this is not too much to ask, though you’ll have to push past the scenery a bit — scratch up a veneer or two in the name of investigating what’s underneath. You might be surprised how just a little poke can open a door to another world.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Success is certain. Good. Now that you have that out of the way, you should find it much easier to focus on nothing but the goal at hand. One step at a time will be too slow for you. You may be able to handle two to five steps at a time this week, especially if you already know what the next forty should be.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The mountain has the attribute of keeping still. The world around it changes. The blossoms open and burn and fall. The leaves shoot bright green then go the colors of alarm; then they wither and die. The rivers gush then trickle then become beds of sand. The mountain stays. You are the mountain to your people.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Instead of reacting to your surroundings in a flowing, ethereal kind of way, there will be an extra level of calculation going on, much to your benefit. After all, someone has to keep track: Why shouldn’t it be you? What things take and what they give — that’s the exchange you’ll negotiate this week.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Curiosity is a good soldier, but a bad general. Lead with your desire for a certain outcome or, even better, for a certain kind of feeling you want to get to. Don’t lead with your need to know, unless you are truly prepared for the chaos that knowing brings with it. Once you know, you can’t un-know.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). What if every person who did you wrong was part of the plan for your life? Some believe that. Others think it’s more a matter of planning as you go — taking the opportunity that’s available in each situation. Whichever way you believe, it will be the reason for the particular way this week unfolds for you.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). There are certain obstacles that are so integral to the landscape that you would be foolish to confront them directly. Perhaps even noting them as “obstacles” isn’t doing your plan any justice. Regard them as structures instead — fixed aspects of the current scene on which you can build.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Just as the rising tide lifts all boats, the success of a loved one will bring up the whole group. Therefore, it makes no sense to be jealous of the accomplishments of those close to you. This week they may be jealous of you, though, and this will be an easier thing to handle because you’ve been in both positions.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). When it comes to stories, you appreciate the classics, but you prefer to be surprised by what happens next. This is what drives you to take unusual routes this week. You’ll include unlikely characters and make unpopular choices, all in the name of adventure and the story that is likely to be born of this later.
