William Maclyn Murphy Eick

MISSION HILLS (CNS) — A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a former Mission Hills high school teacher who allegedly had unlawful sex with students, and police are urging possible victims to contact detectives.

William Eick, 32, taught at Bishop Alemany High School between 2009 and 2016, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“He met his victims/students in his capacity as a teacher, and took advantage of his position to gain their trust,” LAPD Officer Aareon Jefferson alleged. “Eick then engaged in sexual intercourse with them.”

An arrest warrant has been issued for Eick, who is wanted on suspicion of unlawful sex with a minor and oral copulation, Jefferson said.

“Detectives believe there may be additional victims of other unreported incidents, and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them,” Jefferson said.

Police circulated a photo of Eick, and urged anyone with information on the case to call them at  (818) 838-9969, or (877) LAPD-247.
