Little Hats, Big Hearts

Newborns leaving Providence Holy Cross Medical Center this month – American Heart Month – will be given tiny red hats that were knitted or crocheted by an army of volunteers. The American Heart Association’s Little Hats, Big Hearts program aims to raise awareness of congenital heart defects  in babies and heart health in general as it works to help develop treatment and cures. The Heart Association delivered these hats to the Mission Hills hospital last week, in time for the annual nationwide campaign.Providence Holy Cross, delivered 3,295 babies in 2017.
