Volunteers from the San Fernando Police Department and the San Fernando Kiwanis Club assisted at the Special Olympics swimming competition held at the San Fernando Regional on Saturday, April 21. Special Olympic athletes competed in a variety of races including backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly and relays. The San Fernando Police Department participates annually in the Special Olympics Torch run.
