The passing of loved ones is always a difficult and emotional experience. It falls on the living to honor the deceased according to their customs and traditions.
One tradition of honoring a passed life is to place an obituary in a newspaper. An obituary is an announcement that not only denotes a person's death but also provides biographical information that gives the reader insight into what the person was like in life. In this time of need, the San Fernando Valley Sun/El Sol newspaper would like to make it easy and affordable to pay tribute to your loved one by running an obituary in our newspaper.
Please call us at (818) 365-3111 ext. 153 and we will help you create something special or submit your obituary online.
She is survived by her sons, Nick-John and wife Lisa, Scott and wife Ruth, four Grandchildren, Dalton, Lauren, Hudson and Gavin. Her family included two sisters, Patty and Katy and three brothers Tim, Kenneth and Grady. She also leaves behind former husband and forever loved “Nick”.
Barbra will be greatly missed by all, but certainly her adopted sister/friend Geri will not anytime soon find solace with her passing. Geri remember, Barbra will be watching, so be tough!
Barbra has joined her canine soulmate “Cody” in heaven and is certainly at peace.
Barbra, I hope you and Patty show mercy on your Heavenly softball opponents!
We love you!
A memorial/celebration of life will be held on August 5, at her son’s home.
