Demetrio Herrera Gamboa passed away at home on Saturday morning May 2nd, 2020. Demetrio was the 7th of 9 children. He was a lifelong resident of San Fernando and a proud WWII Veteran. He served in the U.S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division in the South Pacific. Demetrio was a devoted man of God and also served as a longtime parishioner at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. He left behind his bride of 70 years, Virginia and 4 children; Demetrio Jr, Anna, Lillian, Martha and was preceded into eternity by his youngest son, Robert. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him.
